Each day focuses on one part of the body: what to avoid, and what to increase.

Try to avoid
- Backbiting.
- Slander.
- Lying.
- Intentionally swearing falsely using one of Allah's names or attributes.
- Giving false witness about a past event.
- Carrying tales/narrations between people in order to ruin their relationships.
- Ridiculing or making fun of another person.
- Obscene talk or talk full of curses.
- Ascribing to Allah, His prophets, His angels or Prophet’s ﷺ, companions what they are high above and free of.
- Uttering black magic words in order to bring about paranormal effects.
- Singing or reciting sensual/sexual lewd lyrics.
- Praising people in their presence who are not free of arrogance and conceit.
- Hypocrisy i.e. being two-faced.
- Revealing someone’s secret.
- Making a false promise to someone intentionally.
- Argumentation and intense debate.
- Finding fault with what Allah have given one and cursing it.
- Incessantly talking about affairs that do not concern one.
- Making a statement about oneself that express that one is pure and fault free.
- Talking about the details of our belief system without knowledge.
- Talking to opposite gender without a permissible need.
Try to increase
- Using your tongue with tenderness and softness when you speak.
- Using tongue to do Dhikr of Allah.
- Only speak when it is necessary to do so and do not waste the breath which Allah Azawajal has given you.
- Use your tongue to give advice (naseha) to help one another through this life.
- Always have a smile through hardship or ease, so that when people see you they shall see the ways of life of Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Try to avoid
- Eavesdropping. Listing to someone's private talk.
- Listening to conversation of opposite gender without a permissible need.
- Listening to music and musical instruments with inappropriate lyrics.
- Listening to backbiting.
- Listening to idle talk.
- Listening to hateful speech.
Try to increase
- Use your ears to listen to Qur’an and Ahadith.
- Use your ears to listen to things which remind you of Allah and the hereafter.
- Whenever you hear a sound, divert your attention towards Allah. Use different sounds/vibration to ponder upon the blessings of Allah and the hereafter.
3The EyesLower the gaze, guard the eyes from the unlawful, and look at the world through the eyes of remembrance and mercy.Watch the video (32 sec)What to avoid and what to increase
Try to avoid
- Safeguarding from looking at the opposite gender.
- Safeguarding from unlawful images in magazine/ videos/ on the internet or on TV.
- Safeguarding from looking at materialistic things which take you out of the remembrance of Allah.
- Gazing excessively at Duniya (worldly materialistic things), wishing to attain it so deeply.
- Looking with jealousy, hatred, or in a belittling way.
Try to increase
- Lower your gazes when looking at even lawful things.
- Train your gaze to obey you, don't let it drift in different directions.
- Try not to look with wide eyes, using full view when looking at lawful things.
- Whenever you observe the world, think about Allah and the hereafter. Be it the blessings of Allah or the reminders of the hereafter.
- Use your eyes to see through the eyes of remembrance.
- Look through the eyes of mercy. Be forgiving towards each other. Everyone has his own shortcomings but forgiveness can be a tool to encourage and help one another. (See beyond the faults and look at the light of his/her goodness e.g. husband/wife).
- When you open and close your eyes, observe and feel the qualities of 99 name of Allah. Live as though you live through what the Holy Prophet ﷺ saw and felt. Through blessings or hardship, you will always become clear of your objective. Every blink is a new start, every blink you see and ponder upon the blessed names of Allah. Every blink, you awaken in awaiting to see Allah. Every blink is intense want of meeting the Creator and His beloveds. A meeting which you wish every time you blink.
4The HandsKeep the hands from harm and the unlawful, and use them to help others, give charity and remember Allah.Watch the video (10 sec)What to avoid and what to increase
Try to avoid
- Causing harm to others with hands.
- Stealing.
- Touching Non-Mehram.
- Writing lies.
- Writing hurtful notes.
Try to increase
- Use your hands to help others in need.
- Give charity.
- Use your hands in lawful means.
- When touching permissible things, be in a state of thankfulness (Shukr): as you are blessed with hands and a feeling of touch. Even if you do not have this ability, still be thankful that Allah has saved you from unlawful use. One's movement should be used to fulfil the rights of Allah and the creation.
- Keep your hands in the presence and remembrance of Allah.
- Let every touch and feeling reflect the hereafter e.g. softness of a pillow is a sign and remembrance of the ease and comfort of the hereafter. The heat and fire should remind you of the hellfire.
- Every time you write, remember and reflect on the book of deeds (Aamaal) which angels write your deeds on. So have mercy upon people but at the same time be firm in this world upon the commands of Allah Azzawajal.
5The Private PartsGuard your chastity, learn the Sunnah of purification, and practise the du'as of the toilet and of intimacy.Watch the video (24 sec)What to avoid and what to increase
Try to avoid
- Fornication: committing adultery.
- Homosexuality.
- Exposing private parts to anyone except for your spouse or for a medical examination if needed.
- Having intimacy during menstrual cycle.
- Satisfying intimacy needs through forbidden methods.
- Not cleaning unwanted hair.
- Not safeguarding yourself from the urine drops. For example using urinal and dropping urine all over your cloths.
- Having intimacy with your spouse using unlawful methods.
Try to increase
- Learn the ways of Sunnah relating to cleansing of the private parts.
- Thank Allah for the ease of relieving. No matter how much pain a person goes through, all this shall never compare to the punishment of the hereafter. So be thankful in all circumstances.
- Learn and practice the supplication (Dua) of entering and leaving the toilet. This will protect you against the devil.
- Learn and practice the supplication (Dua) of before and after one engages in lawful intimacy with his wife/husband. It shall become a blessed relationship which shall keep you both in the presence of Allah Azawajal. One shall not let his desires overcome him like many people have unlawfully committed sins with their wives. It shall also protect you from the devil.
- Cleansing is half of Eemaan. Cleansing and purification will protect you from the evil.
6The FeetWalk away from places of sin and towards the masjid and the people of Allah, as if walking with the Prophet ﷺ.Watch the video (14 sec)What to avoid and what to increase
Try to avoid
- Going toward forbidden places.
- Going to meet Non-Mehram.
- Going to see haram movies, going for concert or going to get something to watch that is not permissible.
- Traveling to place of sin.
Try to increase
- Travel closer towards the Sunnah in all walks of life.
- Travel towards good places, the mosque, the people of Allah and the places if remembrance.
- Walk as if today is your last day.
- With every footstep, imagine you are walking with the Holy Prophet ﷺ, so see through every step the way of His Sunnah.
- Learn the supplications (Dua) of travelling.
- Learn the supplications (Dua) of entering and leaving a Masjid.
- Learn the supplications (Dua) of leaving and returning to your home.
- Learn to walk like the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Try to avoid
- Smoking.
- Drinking alcohol.
- Using drugs.
- Eating unlawful food.
- Drinking unlawful drinks.
- Eating too much or drinking too much.
- Eating or drinking opposing the Sunnah.
Try to increase
- Follow the Sunnah while eating, drinking and siting etc.
- Everything you consume, be thankful with every bite and remember the life of Holy Prophet ﷺ.
- While eating remember those who are less fortunate and those who have nothing.
- Eat healthy food.
- Give the body the right portion of food and exercise.
- Your body should not be ruled by your stomach, but your heart should be the ruler and people should see the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ in you.
- Have a balanced exercise. Do not overwhelm your body with physical exercise as the true exercise is of the heart (purification of the heart).
Purification and Enlightenment of the Mind
Clear the mind of sinful thoughts, then fill it with the presence of Allah, deep reflection and good opinions.

- Level 1 · Day 11Acting upon Good ThoughtsWhenever a good thought comes to mind, act on it or make a plan to act on it.
- Level 2Deepening the Presence of Allah through the NamesSelect seven of His Names each day and consciously connect to Him through them. When needing guidance, recall that Allah ﷻ is As-Samīʿ (the Hearing), Al-Baṣīr (the Seeing) and Al-Ḥakīm (the Wise). When seeking peace, remember He is Al-Qarīb (the Near) and As-Salām (the Source of Peace).
- Level 3 · Day 12Developing Good OpinionRecall 3 good qualities that a person has and ask: “How can I develop and increase this quality in myself?” Practise with one person every day, seeing them with the eye of self-improvement.
- Level 4Benefiting from seeing the defects of othersUse the defects you see in others as a means of self-improvement. Direct negative feelings at the sin, not the sinner, and ask: “How do I make sure I do not have this bad quality?”
- Level 5Deeper wisdom behind bad traitsReflect on the good quality being misused for evil, and ask yourself: “Do I have these good qualities at the level this person has, but am misusing them?”
- Level 6Mindset to benefit in the dayAfter Fajr: pleasing Allah. After Dhuhr: creating ease. After Asr: fulfilling the needs of others.
- Level 7Mindset to benefit through 24 hoursAfter Maghrib: gratitude for goodness received. After Isha: forgiveness. At Tahajjud: donating good deeds.
- Level 8Mindset to beautify all interactionsWhenever you interact with anyone or anything, leave it more beautiful than you found it. For example, tidy your bed and leave a good fragrance so it is more beautiful when you return.
- Level 9 · Day 13Serving the creation without expectationRemove all expectations of goodness from the creation and direct them to Allah only, whenever you serve others.
Enlightenment of the Heart
Build the qualities of the heart: sincerity, humbleness, thankfulness, repentance, modesty, patience and remembrance of death.

- Level 4 · Day 15Meeting and departing from people for Allah's sakeWhen meeting and departing from anyone, refresh the intention that you meet for Allah and depart for Allah.
- Level 5Serving others expecting only from AllahWhen serving the creation, refresh that you are doing it for Allah and not for people's acknowledgement.
- Level 6Forsaking lawful matters for AllahIdentify 3 things you are excessive in and give them up for Allah. Refresh this every month for 3 months.
- Level 7Serving the creation with no expectationServe the creation with no expectation from the creation, nor even from Allah.
- Level 8Mindset: the pleasure and fear of AllahIn personal worship, refresh that you perform it for Allah's pleasure, and hold back from sin out of fear of His wrath.
- Level 9 · Day 16Mindset: worshipping Allah out of love for who He isPerform all good deeds because of who Allah is, and to emulate His beautiful qualities.
- Level 10Mindset: Allah alone deserves worshipPerform all good deeds because Allah is the only being who deserves to be reflected and worshipped.
Humbleness

- Level 9 · Day 20Mindset: attributing goodness to AllahAfter every good act, attribute it to Allah and not to yourself. It is through His grace and mercy that you could do it.
- Level 10 · Day 18Mindset: reflecting on uncountable blessingsReflect on your blessings: you will never be able to thank Allah for their enormity.
- Level 11Mindset: falling short on fulfilling rightsAfter any deed, reflect that you will always fall short of the rights of the Prophet ﷺ and of the creation.
- Level 12Mindset: reflecting on your faultsEvery day recall 2 areas to improve and ask Allah to guide you, as He is beyond perfection and you are still improving.
- Level 13Mindset: benefiting from criticismSee constructive criticism as coming from Allah and focus on how you can improve.
Thankfulness

Modesty

- Level 4Presence in dressEach time you dress or undress, adopt the mindset that your clothing is watching you, while you are in the presence of Allah.
- Level 5Modesty in your environmentWhen alone, think that the objects around you are watching and recording what you do, bringing you into the presence of Allah.
- Level 6Modesty in consumptionWhen eating, imagine the food is a witness over whether you used it or wasted it.
- Level 7Hourly presenceRefresh all the previous mindsets every hour, knowing everything in creation is a witness to you.
- Level 8Angelic presenceWhenever you refresh the presence of Allah, bring to mind that you are also in the company of angels for the next hour.
Patience

- Level 1 · Day 29When calamity or difficulty befallsHold back from adopting any sinful means to fix the problem.
- Level 2 · Day 30Seek the help of Allah by helping othersWhatever you are facing, find someone going through the same difficulty and help them for Allah's sake, and you will find ease in your own.
- Level 3Responding to the evil actions of othersRestrain yourself from retaliating with evil, and strive to stay silent in your response.

Remembrance of One's True Abode

- Level 1Daily reminderAt the start of each day, remind yourself this could be your last day. Plan your actions accordingly, prioritising deeds that please Allah.
- Level 2Midday and evening reminderRefresh this in the middle of the day and before sleeping, keeping life's impermanence in mind.
- Level 3The future is by Allah's permissionWhenever making plans, end by affirming they will only happen if Allah grants you life and by His permission.
- Level 4 · Day 31Reflecting on death before each prayerBefore each of the five daily prayers, remind yourself this could be your last Salah, and pray with full focus.
- Level 5Hourly reminderRemind yourself every hour that it could be your last, for a continuous state of readiness and devotion.
Purification of the Nafs
Direct every desire of the self to Allah, lawful ones through His Names, and unlawful ones by turning them around.

- Level 1 · Day 32Base desires (hunger, intimacy, safety, entertainment, health, acquiring things)Names: Al-Razzaq, Al-Muʿti, Al-Shafi, Al-Mughni, Al-Wahhab. Allah is the source of all provision and has fulfilled your need. When spending, eating or working, be present with Al-Razzaq and Al-Muʿti: everything that made it possible is from His favour, and you own nothing.
- Level 2 · Day 33Knowledge and development (to grow, adapt, learn and develop)Names: Al-ʿAlim, Al-Hakim, Al-Musawwir, Al-Hadi. Knowledge does not come from the self. Imagine light entering your heart and mind from His attributes: all knowledge entering or leaving you is from Allah.
- Level 3 · Day 34Acknowledgment and approval (to be known, appreciated, forgiven and accepted)Names: Al-Khabir, Ash-Shakur, Al-Ghaffar, Al-Ghafur. When the nafs wants appreciation for a good deed, remember Al-Khabir is aware of every action, intention and thought. If the King of kings knows, what value is a servant's awareness?
- Level 4 · Day 35Control and power (to be in control, followed and listened to)Names: Al-Mutakabbir, Al-Malik, Al-Qahhar. When you lead or instruct, remember how many still disobey Al-Qahhar despite His power, so who are we to force others? The real owner of all authority is Al-Malik; you are only a means to serve His command.
- Level 5Self-actualisation and purpose (to have purpose, plans, goals and self-awareness)Names: Al-Badiʿ, Al-Awwal, Al-Akhir. When planning, be present with Al-Awwal and Al-Akhir: you plan, but Allah is beyond time and sees what is best. Your unique gifts come from Al-Badiʿ, who originated you unlike anyone else.
- Level 6Love and connection (to be loved, connected and have companionship)Names: Al-Wadud, Al-Mujib, Al-Qarib, Al-Raqib, As-Samiʿ, Al-Basir. You are never alone: every word to Allah is heard and answered. Any love you receive is an extension of the love of Al-Wadud.
